Tuesday, May 30, 2023 

         The former teenager spends the day doing her college homework in the guest room.  Pacing through the house silently as she is focused on her work. Food is delivered by her mom in the middle of the marathon.

         This morning I purge the refrigerator of old food. We had good intentions of eating the leftovers. Now there is room for new food.

         Last night, I wake up with the moon shinning on my face. The clouds are temporarily lifted.  This morning the fog is here again.

         Today is garbage day and house cleaning day. I dragged the bins out in the late afternoon and am picking up the clutter so the cleaners can actually work in the house.
