Friday’s NYT paper is filled with thought-provoking movie reviews, movies that are supposedly in theaters.  How come our local theaters don’t show these movies?  I am so ready to resume movie watching in a comfortable theater.  I miss the old Osio theaters in Monterey.

When I meet up with a friend I haven’t seen for years, I start giving them my medical up date. I wonder why.  I am interested in hearing their medical news. I actually do have other interests.

What are my interests.  I follow the news with the evening reports.  I read books. I take short walks in my neighborhood.  I watch birds in the front yard.  I read the paper editions of the New York Times in the morning. I write in my journal. I talk to friends mostly on the phone. I do my home making chores daily. My cancer treatment issues underlie most of what I do.

The hall bathroom toilet doesn’t quite work.  It has a slow leak and the water turns on and off.  Two different plumbers have fixed it but the fixes haven’t lasted. This week again I will try to find an imaginative skilled plumber. Sigh.
