It is sort of good news. At the procedure yesterday the oncologist reports, no new tumors are visible. Good news, but not enough for a celebration. Two years of surgeries and Immunotherapy treatments, and preparing to die, and now, maybe the treatments are beginning to work. Still more labs and a PET scan to doublecheck yesterday’s results. The plan is for two more years of difficult therapy treatments and scans. If more tumors found again, more surgeries and new harsher treatments.
So, what am I going to do with this possibility of future health. Time to see the dentist, get my eyes checked and maybe see a skin doctor. I thought I had escaped from all these other doctors.
My garden is wildly blooming, the sun is warming the land and the four neighborhood woodpeckers are busy in the upper branches of the tall pine trees.
Two tasks for today, water the front yard, and open the stack of packages and boxes crowding the dining room table.
