The most interesting part of the long treatment day is sitting in the familiar waiting room. I watch patients and visitors and employees coming and going. I check out wheel chairs and walkers with an acquisitive eye. I want more visual human contact in my life. The treatment itself went smoothly. Next Wednesday will be the 12th and last treatment for awhile. I have no idea if the treatment is working.
I was showing off to the tall man. I ate the potato soup that he refused. He was right, it was just potatoes and water. A meal I imagine is served in a prison.
A bunch of books are waiting for me at the library. My personal librarian plans to pick them up today. Yesterday, after the pain meds wore off. I started reading OTHER LIVES BUT MINE, a memoir by Emmanuel Carrere, a French author.
I am watching Season 5 of NEW AMSTERDAM on Peacock. I hate the interruptions for ads but I persist. The first four seasons were ad free on Netflix. Sigh.
