I pause before I turn the heater back on.  Is it cold enough? My gas heating bill is much too high.  Heat and bladder supplies take up one third of my monthly income. Who could have planned for this.

This weekend I plan to start completing my income tax forms.  First I have to clear space on my dining room table by opening packages, and putting away items crowding the table.  So many decisions.

Went on a small road trip to the bank and to San Carlos Beach on Friday when the rain had stopped.  My car is so pleased to be out of the muddy driveway and on the road again. I also took two short walks.  Monterey has had over 40 inches of rain this season, Usually, in a good year we have 18 inches.

My chocolate donut friend recommended this book several months ago.  LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY, a novel by Bonnie Garmus. Definitely a page turner and wonderful.
