I am drying out the NYT this morning in front of the heater. The hazards of paper news.
Took two long naps on Sunday and then slept well last night. Now I am awake and ready to do dishes, take out trash and make beds. Not ready to hang up clothes. Garbage day is back again. It has never gone away but sometimes I don’t think about garbage day.
Started reading a new mystery story but I don’t like it so much so it is the return library pile. My car has been neglected for weeks now during these winter storms. Time to drive around a bit. The beach photographer has started working as an uber driver this week.
No medical appointments or treatments for the next 6 weeks. I plan to get out more during this time. I have agreed to give a talk for Brown Bag Zen in early April and lead a zen center workshop in May exploring old age, illness and death. I want to be strong enough to really follow through with these plans. And of course being with the monthly OLLI plein air writing class.
