Caught video glimpses of the gigantic Chinese weather spy balloon drifting in the sky. Hard to understand how we can be afraid of balloons.  Last year a “get well” balloon floated in my living room for months until it finally hit the floor.

Sun is out this morning and I am energized to do more decluttering in the kitchen.  The counter is the repository of piles of homeless stuff.  I want to make space on the counter. The clutter has been growing for two years. Maybe it is too late to save the counter.

I am feeling better and getting ready to start the immunotherapy treatments this week. The treatment has been postponed twice.   But first the kitchen needs work.

I am reading the long book, CLOUD CUCKOO LAND by Anthony Doerr.  AT first I was confused about the direction of the story but after 100 pages I am hooked. I continue to read Henry Marsh’s memoir ADMISSIONS about his life as a surgeon.
