While watching the scuba divers change out of their wet suits I notice the tattoo on a young man’s back.  A large complicated tattoo. What’s the point of a tattoo that you can’t see.  Is it just for people to notice?  I don’t have the courage to ask him.

Another cold morning.  Today we are having a mini birthday gathering for my talented daughter.  Cake and conversation, my favorites.

Still reading HOW THE WORLD REALLY WORKS by Vaclav Smil. Listened to the latest Ezra Klein podcast. He interviews Adrian Tchaikovsky, a prolific British Science Fiction writer.  I immediately to place a library hold on one of his books.  I hope it is as interesting as it sounds.

Spent a lot of time playing solitaire on my computer.  I am preparing for Wednesday’s next treatment.  Wednesdays come so quickly. I seldom forget that I am in the middle of an immunotherapy cancer treatment program.
