I am learning patience with playing hundreds of games of solitaire on my computer.  If I play too quickly, I miss opportunities.  I can’t control the cards.  I just keep playing with what arrives. And if one game fails there is always a next game, many new games. Solitaire gives me hope in living with not knowing what is next. It also may be a bit addicting.

The intelligent writer is going to take my car to Jiffy Lube to replace my windshield wipers before the rain comes tomorrow. I think of Jiffy Lube as the urgent care clinic for cars. No appointments needed, just drive in. They have tended to my 14 year old car’s minor needs gas stations used to provide.

The Meals on wheels meals become tastier or maybe I have learned to appreciate them. I am grateful to the volunteers.

I delighted with this Bruce Chatwin’s book. I am almost done. More books waiting. Started watching FLEISHMAN IS IN TROUBLE last night. Pretty compelling without a single murder. Lots of realistic family and heart break drama
