This morning I read the NYT’s orbits of people we lost to the virus. I am interested in their lives and how they will be missed.

I had forgotten that birthday evenings with the family could be good. Also birthday zoom parties are wonderful. Maybe we are all growing up a bit.

I am adding Bob Dylan to the list of people born when I was born.  So many of us still alive.

When I couldn’t sleep late Friday night I started reading MAN’S PLACE by Annie Ernaux, a study of her father’s life. I am slowly reading all of her books.
