I don’t feel uplifted by the Sunday New York Times’s advice
and stories of surviving in the time of the epidemic.
Once again, I move my car early this morning in anticipation
of the rescheduled paving of the street.
I am hopeful it will be finished today.
I watered the front yard yesterday and today I will water
the pots on the deck. And today is garbage day once more.
I love THE SPLENDID AND THE VILE book. The plight of the British being bombed by the
Nazi resonates with my upset with our government leadership, the epidemic and
facing police brutality and racism.
