A dozen young people sit on the grass creating posters for a
Tuesday noon rally at Monterey city center. I sit in the shade in my car and
watch my teenager roommate and her sister work.
I am totally committed to the PACHINKO novel. I keep finding
time to continue reading.
I do wear my mask at times and the mask is
uncomfortable. I do wear it. I am committed.
The wind picks up yesterday afternoon blowing the red petals
from the bottle bush tree around the steps.
