My daily life feels so small. House, deck, porch. Sometimes I am in my car. It is people I miss. Books, news on TV, music
on Pandora.
The teenager starts summer school at MPC today. She will be in the family room with her
computer for the classes. She yearns to
be on campus with other students. I will
stay out of her way.
Still reading PACHINKO. A couple of hundred pages to
go. Life is hard in the Pachinko world.
Squirrels race across the skylight to the bottle bush tree.
They leap from the edge of the roof onto the swaying branches.
