When I retired from paid work 19 years ago, I wanted to
spend more time reading. I had been reading deprived while working and raising
kids, and now it was my time. But I had
a hidden rule in my head that said I can only read at home in the evening. The other rule was I could read at the beach
in the daytime. I spent a lot of time at
the beach until I realized that I was in charge of my rules and could change
them. I still have some hidden rules
that are slowly making their way to the surface of my mind.
I am almost through THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT, a surprisingly
good book.
