Scientists say we lose 100 strands of hair a day. Way too many for an old lady. I spend part of each day removing these 100
strands from my clothes. Soon I will
have no hair left.
My landline died in October, a noisy slow death. The 45 year old wires just gave out. So now I am learning to use my cell phone to
take calls. I have become the kind of
person who never answers the phone but will return calls from friends. The cell phone culture has made my life more
isolated and difficult.
The new Lee Child’s book, PAST TENSE, has arrived from the
library. Time to space out.
