I am finally getting tired of tortured and murdered
women. This last book THE CUTTING by
James Hayman is the best and the worst.
I still have more on the hold list at the library. Today the sun is out. I want to read something hopeful
Yesterday late afternoon I went downtown to check on the
women without shelter. They are taken by
an old van to a local church for a hot meal and to sleep on a mat on the
floor. Each night a different church and
a different group of cooks. About a dozen women with bags but no pets. I watched
the women walk from different directions to meet the van. Three had bicycles that they hid nearby. Each was clothed in layers and carried a bag.
Several really old women and several young women. Breaks my heart that they have to live outside.
