It's my turn to recommend three books to my book group for their vote. They will pick one. I have been agonizing for days, which books should they be. There are so many books that I love. So here is what I am recommending:
FIELDWORK by Misha Berlinski, a novel about anthropological field work in Thailand.
WRITING IN THE AGE OF SILENCE, by Sara Paretsky, a memoir of this wonderful feminist mystery writer.
WAITING FOR SNOW IN HAVANA, by Carlos Eire, a memoir of living in Cuba.
I don't know which one will be chosen.
