Looking at my new Honda element I realize how small it really is. But when I am driving I feel like I am driving a monster truck. I have lost the confidence to parallel park downtown. The parking places looks too small to me when I am driving.

This is going to take some time to develop my confidence in driving and parking again.

    I get the feeling of being unexpectedly in a truck, a lot to handle, a lot to maneuver.

    it does feel big when you drive, but it's got a really tight turning radius, much better than the subaru. and you're up high - I find it great for parallel parking and so forth, tho I kind of have to hoist myself up when I turn to back up. still love mine, 60,000 later.
