The young adult folks come into the house laughing and happy.   Here for the night before an early morning flight back to Boston. The tall man prepares a gourmet dinner for them. They wash their dishes and clean up the kitchen. My house perks up and all is well.

The night is so cold.  I wake frequently thinking about getting another blanket. It is too cold to get out of bed.  The heater goes on temporarily at 5am as the travelers pack up, and ride to the airport with the tall man. The house cools off again. I get up hours later.

Lunch with three favorite friends at her new place in Carmel Valley.  We talk and eat and admire her beautiful her new apartment. The valley is vibrant green with clusters of yellow flowers along the roadside. Back home I take a long nap.

I am reading another African mystery set in Botswana.  A CARRION DEATH by Michael Stanley. I do my assigned PT exercises for the second day in a row.
