The antibiotic begins it’s work. I am hyper alert to possible side effects of this medicine. Broken tendons, brain fog, intestinal distress, sunlight damage, driving difficulty. Day two, I can feel the UTI’s effects start to wane. seven days of treatment. I suspect the UTI was caused by November’s Docetaxel chemo infusion in my bladder.
Nap twice and spend the day quietly. I don’t cook or wash dishes or take out the garbage, my usual tasks. My family is visiting and taking care of me. They bake potatoes and set up a condiment center for dinner. The whole family eat and watch a confusing Netflix movie, CARRY-ON, Actually I bail out of the movie early on.
My daughter who stayed with me while we looked for treatment, had a different experience then mine. She is exhausted today and also needs to rest.
This morning a flock of small birds are a flutter in the bottle bush trees. The wind starts up and rain clouds dim the day light. I know the stars are out there but I just don’t see or feel them. It is football watching time for the family.
