     I love See’s candy. A four pound box of See’s candy arrives, more than I can ever eat by myself.  Now when friends come to visit, they can savor chocolate.

     In the evening, I start reading a Cara Black French detective novel.  It is too confusing. I finished reading Rachel Clarke’s memoir, DEAR LIFE.  I am moved by her stories of becoming a palliative care doctor. It brings me hope that my cancer journey will be safe.

     A friend comes by, eats some chocolate and asks if I had received the box from Land’s End.  I said yes and I am upset that I don’t remember ordering these pants.  She laughs, it is for me.  Remember I asked if it could come to your house. What a relief.

     I watch several episodes of SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE on HBO.  Also watch the latest Seth Meyers comedy show.
