     We both think that the world is unpredictable, surprises happen.  She says it is a random universe.  I say no, not random, just there are too many factors contributing to each event that keep us from understanding why something happens. We do agree that we have to be open to uncertainty and surprise in life.

     My friends write in the morning at my house.  When they realize I miss going to Denny’s, we immediately made plans for breakfast at Denny’s later in the week. They too have fond memories of Denny’s.

     I watch an episode of SUCKY, pretty silly but great acting by the older woman lead actress. Also watched more of SOMEBODY SOMEWERE. Just about finished reading THE HERO OF THIS BOOK by Elizabeth McCracken.  A strange short read.

     I take out the garbage bins in the late afternoon, pick up the mail and then sit outside to do my exercise routine.  I am feeling better. I wear my orange puffer jacket.
