         Back to normal with the internet. The hidden work of maintaining the systems is a mystery.  It is magic, I push the button and the moving speaking world comes to me. I am shocked when the screens are dark. I have learned how plumbing really works and, now, do I have to learn about the invisible rays that permeate my house?

         I actually feel better now that I have stopped one of my medications. Although I am willing to say no, I struggle with letting the decisions rest in peace. There are so many choices in the medical world and none are guaranteed. Today is a good day so far.

         The oncologist in the recent book I read, becomes a cancer patient and realizes the painfulness of some of the treatments given by oblivious doctors.  She recommends cancer patients bring a supply of their own pain blockers.  She gives the product names and how to order them. I am keeping this book.

         While I am reading CHILDREN OF TIME, I am living in the world of smart spiders and worker ants in a different galaxy. And yes, it is compelling.
