Loud military planes fly over my house mid-morning, a new activity. What wars are we preparing for? On BBC news I see the bombing in Ukraine and wonder if the bombs will come to Monterey.  The house shakes and then they are gone.

CANCERLAND, a Medical Memoir by David Scadden, M.D. is good.  I bought the book months ago and just started reading it. Scadden writes about the history of science and cancer, and the changing understanding of the human body during the last 80 years, my years.  

Today is the 12 hour immunotherapy treatment protocol day. Treatment number 16. Anticipation is harder than the actual activities. I have all the tools I need. While I am at the clinic, the cleaners will be working on my house.

Thick fog this morning, birds busy outside, garbage bins by the road, a pile of dishes still to wash, a stack of unread books. All is well.
