In the late afternoon, on the deck, in the shade, I hear the competing voices of crows, seagulls, blue jays, and now, woodpeckers. All the big guys flying and calling. The blue sky is hosting scattered fluff ball clouds. And of course, the airplanes are coming and going at the airport. It is only later, the neighborhood dogs start barking. Another dreamy Sunday afternoon.
I found a TV show I actually like on Apple+, WHAT HE LAST SAID TO ME. Beautiful scenes from the bay area and an interesting story.
I start reading a new book, YOU COULD MAKE THIS PLACE BEAUTIFUL by Maggie Smith. An unusual modern memoir that is interesting.
The former teenager is off to hike at Point Lobos with friends this morning. I am still deciding what to do today. Three friends are coming over in the afternoon. Maybe this is a take a shower day.
