I drive to ELROYS market in Monterey to pick up a salad. The shelves are filled with mysterious packages of food. The words are in English but the meaning and uses are hidden. The customers look normal so the confusion must be mine. The market reflecting my world is GROVE MARKET in Pacific Grove.

Most of the time my dusty car just sits outside patiently waiting for some action. I love my 2008 Honda Element.

My bedroom lightens with sunlight this morning. The fog is retreating at least for now. Today is the day to water the front yard, fold laundry and open the pile of packages on the dining room table. And of course, sit outside in the sun to warm my clothes and body.

Stated watching a documentary about Robin Williams on HBO MAX last night.  Also watched a new Sarah Silverman standup comedy show. I laughed a lot.
