As long as I remember I have been afraid my house will burn down. 50 years in this house and it hasn’t burnt. I think my vigilant fear has kept my house safe. Several family members are smokers.  I encourage them to smoke outside on the cement patio. I am not sure where this fear came from.

Today is another appointment with the palliative care doctor.  I am making a list of issues to review.

We watch the first episode of Mrs. Davis on Peacock. I still don’t know what it is about.  Confusing to this 83 year old mind.

No tennis tournament this morning. Several family members are in the living room reading their books in silence.
