Now that I am tired of chocolate donuts, what do I want? Today it is easy, I love fresh cookies and fresh fruit and fresh tortilla chips and COSTCO hot dogs.  Tomorrow may be different.

Lying in bed this morning I feel unusually sad. I have been struggling with surgeries and hospitalizations and treatments now for two years.  I am an expert on medical waiting rooms, and how the system really works. I ask myself, what will entice me out of bed this cold foggy morning.  Yep, permission to turn on the heater and hot coffee.

I have started reading Jacqueline Winspear’s new novel THE WHITE LADY, not a Maisie Dobbs story. So far good enough. 

My kind personal librarian brings me another stack of library books, books that I requested. Now I have 15 books on the table, waiting patiently for my attention. I am a bit overwhelmed.
