We watch the weird show OTTER DYNASTY on HBO.  It is a nature film from Singapore mimicking Game of Thrones with videos of river otters. Yes, I am unable to accurately describe it, but both the tall man and the former teenager are doubled over in laughter.  Me, I think it is dumb. Like my taste buds, my sense of humor is diminished.

Mostly I nap Wednesday. In the morning I listen to the classical music radio station and in the afternoon, with the doors open, I listen to the neighbor’s construction sounds. I am in the middle of this treatment cycle and am fatigued.

My birthday events are over.  I avoid birthday celebrations, mine or others. I don’t know why. My family and friends have been kind to me.

I read for hours THE COVENANT OF WATER, by Abraham Verghese.  It is the only way I can get through all 700 pages. The huge cast of characters are a challenge to follow. And yet, I am immersed in the stories.
