Cloudy dark morning. Still in the middle of a cold cycle.  I forget how annoying colds are.  Burning eyes, stuffed head, drippy nose and the cough. I think I am better.  Just slightly.

Started reading Pico Iyer’s new book THE HALF KNOWN LIFE, IN SEARCH OF PARADISE. It is a good book but too ambitious for me right now.

Watched the movie WOMEN TALKING.  I had read the book several years ago. At the end I felt sad about how difficult life can be for women, including me.

Family members come to check on me. Am I still alive.  Yep it is just a cold, the same cold they had last week. Today I will take naps and watch sad movies on TV. Can’t stand comedy when my head is foggy.
