The skimpy Monterey Herald paper arrived with my NYT paper yesterday morning. I don’t subscribe or read the Herald.  I haven’t trusted it for years. I realize my stubborn mind is not interested in exploring the prejudice I have for this paper.  Many years ago, I turned against the paper’s corporate bosses and haven’t looked back.

Cold mornings and then sun warmed afternoons this week.  Time to think about watering the garden and the pots on the deck. Apricot tree still has delicate blossoms.

Started reading IN SICKNESS, a memoir by Barrett Rollins.  A gruesome and compelling medical narrative. I don’t know, maybe it is time to read something more lively and light. The detective books I read are not as grim as this one.

I am hooked by SEINFELD.  Last night at the end of the evening I watch a twenty minute episode of SEINFELD and felt quite happy. How did I miss this show when it came out decades ago.
