The house is still cold and damp. Windows opaque with steam this morning. Heater should get a reward for working so hard to dry out the house. The sun helped yesterday, but not quite enough.
I had visitors yesterday and more visitors today. I want to rejoin my community of friends and colleagues. Sat in the cool morning sun and did my chair exercises. Two hawks were circling high in the sky and several crows were screeching out warnings. I knew it was not me stirring their fear.
The neighbor’s cherry tree is ready to bloom. The limbs are full of erupting buds. I am counting the days until my next treatment stars. I feel so good now.
I started to read John Irving’s new heavy book THE LAST CHAIRLIFT, over 800 pages. I have loved his previous books but this one I am not sure yet. Lately I have been interested in shorter books.
