Heard from my sister this morning of another earthquake in Northern California. Her iPhone alert system woke her up at 2am. She offers to put the disaster alert apt on my phone.  No, I say.  What I would do in a disaster being temporary disabled.  We didn’t feel the earthquake here.

I have been watching the Netflix documentary on Megan and Harry, the British royalty living in California. It is much better than I expected, although totally beyond my experience range. We also watched David Letterman’s wonderful interview in Kiev with President Zelensky.

Today my week old catheter comes out, I hope. Time for an untethered life. I am living in a holding pattern waiting for the next step to happen. Soon I can start becoming strong again. My body is coming alive.

I am encouraged to drink a lot of water.  I drink more when the water is flavored with a bit of juice and I can use a straw.  Who knew.
