The teenager asks me to wake her up at 8.  Her capacity to sleep is stronger than my ability to harass.

Met a friend at the Crossroads Tuesday morning. People outside wore masks or had them dangling near their faces.  The rate of infection is growing.  If only the virus was visible we could easily avoid it.

I ponder calling friends and then don’t.  I miss my friends and am hesitant to reach out to them.

Outside the Library I run into an old friend and we are delighted to see each other. We both talk and laugh through our masks while standing on our designated lines. We follow the rules and move forward as directed.
