Today is full of meetings.
Time to sit down and listen and maybe to give my ideas. Once again, I see the pile of deer poop on
the stairs. Now the poop is wet and
mushy.
I have a new plan to rid my house of mice but I am reluctant
to talk about it because friends have so many opinions and advice.
While staying at my sick friend’s house I forgot my
book. I looked through her piles and
settled on THE BIGAMIST’S DAUGHTER by Alice McDermott. And I have finished reading MILKMAN.
Last night I turned off the heater and the lights, opened my
bedroom window and pulled up the comforter.
I wait for my body heat to warm the bed.
I fantasize getting an electric blanket but my fear of fire is
strong. Finally, I am warm and begin to
doze off.
