I leave the parking lot at the Whole Enchilada to drive south on Highway 1, crowded with cars, trucks, RV’s going north and south.   I am behind dozens Harley Davidson noisy bikes with tough drivers in black. I am stuck, I will never get out of here.  And then one motorcycle driver crosses into the north lane.  He makes a u turn and stops in the middle of the southbound lane.  All the vehicles  stop. The bikes cross the highway and I am close behind and enter southbound highway 1.  Thank you.

Today I am reading a mystery book by William Kent Krueger, DESOLATION MOUNTAIN. I haven’t read him before and realize this is part of a long series.  If I like him I will have lots more books in the future. These books are set near native American reservations in Minnesota.
