I am excited to read in the NYT that Sigrid Nunez won The National Book Award. I first read her book, SEMPRE SUSAN, about her relationship with Susan Sontag and her son. I then read THE FRIEND.
Reading the interview with Sigrid I now want to read THE FRIEND again. And yet, I seldom read a book a second time. I am seduced by the interview with the author. Maybe I missed some wonderful part in the book. I don’t want to miss anything. I am resisting buying another copy on Amazon
