I keep watching MY BRILLIANT FRIEND on HBO.  I have a loyalty to it even though I cannot say I really like it.  Because I loved the Elena Ferrante’s books, I am determined to keep watching this HBO tv series.  And the show is well done and yet, the difficulties of these young women is too much to take. Life is a struggle for girls.  I keep hoping my 17 year old granddaughter will be safe.
