Sitting in the living room listening to the chain saws cutting away at some dangerous pine trees.  the persistent cutting sound. 

My roommate thinks it is PG&E fixing the telephone lines because a transformer blew several nights ago..

We are both too lazy to go over and see..  We just keep talking as if we know what is happening.
