I cut two snippets from a geranium plant I have in a pot on my deck and then put them in the soil in the front yard in an empty space.  they should grow with the rain coming later this week.  I feel so powerful when I actually start plants by sticking pieces in the soil.  It only works about 60% of the time , that is why I planted two.
