I don't know why I was surprised at the heavy traffic in Big Sur today. After all it is August, summer, tourists abound. Roxane and I were planning a November plein air class in Big Sur so my mind was in November not August.

Beautiful sunny weather at the River inn. They were happy to have our class come to their deck in November.
