This morning before dawn I stoped at the post office to check my mail box. A firetruck was just pulling up and then a police car and and ambulence. A homeless man was slumped on a bench near the entrance. I watched for a moment as the first responders began to talk with this man and check him out. It was 40 degrees cold. I hope they took him to a warm place.
