Driving back to the Peninsula from Santa Cruz at noon today I kept making plans to stop for lunch at different places. But the roads were so full of cars I began to question whether I could get back on the highway after lunch so I kept driving until I returned to my house and made my own lunch.

I love eating in restaurants but it seemed just too difficult today with the weekend warm weather traffic.
