Spent several hours at Community Hospital this afternoon on chaplain rounds. Saturday afternoon, parking lot with lots of vacant spots. The corridors were empty. Sounds of TV drifted out of the rooms.
Everything is so clean and shiny and contained. The outside world can be seen through the spotless windows, flowers, trees, sky.
Sometimes I forget how sick people are.
