I am fixated still on the inauguration. My family is someplace in this crowd at the ceremony.

I watched the television special on the Sunday concert. My two grandkids watched reluctantly with me but after awhile we all started singing and dancing. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to get on with my life.

Hi Mom!

We were BEHIND the Washington Monument for the inauguration ceremony. None of the photos even sho the hundreds of thousands of people that were BEHIND the Washington Monument, stretching all the way back to the Lincoln Monument. Since 7 year old Lila was with us, it didn't make sense to try to squish up closer, when all she would see would be coats and jackets. The one time we did tryto squish in to the top of the hil where the Washington Monumentis, so we could see the vista first hand, she giggled the whole time, saying it was like being in a giant quesadilla!

We went to the sunday concert too - with four of the kiddles - and couldn't see or hear it at all. I still want to watch it on the computer. So you could be there and not actually see anything, or stay home and see it all - both had their benefits!
