Families at the beach by the pier this afternoon, splashing in the water, sun bathing, napping. Some couples nuzzling each other. Middle aged women with huge dogs that were struggling against their leashes.

Just finished a great book, OLIVE KITTERAGE by Elizabeth Strout. A series of linked short stories about growing older. I do recommend it.
