We ate a late morningbrunch at Rosine's this morning. Outside there were parking places, empty stores, few people but at Rosine's crowds of multigenerations of Monterey families were talking and eating. wiggly babies, music, Xmas decorations, old women with sons.

We got the last booth and surrounded ourselves with warm good cheer and ate our breakfast.
