after Thursday meditation we meet at El Fornio coffee house at the Pine Inn in Carmel. It is foggy and cold and the fire is burning in the fireplace. Only here is it so cold in the summer that we have morning fires in the fireplace. And we all are talkative as we drink our warm coffee.

We spend so much time in silence that when we finally have the opportunity to talk, it is wonderful.
