every day I drive by the Blue heron rookery, just down the street form my house. There is no place to pull over and look so I quickly glance and then return my eyes to the road. I keep thinking that I might hit something when I am looking for the birds. There are several nests high up in the pine trees and I think the birds are now there.

Certainly blue herons fly in and out of the area.

I think I need to take a walk and check out this site and not rely on the quick drive by glance.
