Bernie Sanders is in town for a rally.  Too many cars, too many people.  I guess I am old.

Lots of slow day lately.  Am reading  Jenny Diski's last book, In Gratitude.  She is such a good writer.

Sun was out and then the fog and wind came.  But there was enough sun to remember what it was like to be warm.

Drove to Salinas for Scott's graduation from nursing school. Found a parking place right on the street and then realized that I was an hour early.So I read for a bit.

Had lunch with some folks I worked with 45 years ago.  And now we are all old and thinking about those times.

Sometimes I just feel sad.  Today is such a day.  Tomorrow is a new day.

Went to the beach to read for awhile but forgot my reading glasses so I just had to watch the birds and the boats in the distance.
